hello everyone

 

Does anyone know wheter is possible to install a second hard drive to a HP15-Dy1001la? I opened it, and I see there´s a little connector to plug in a "flex" but still don´t know  how to get/qhere to purchase the "flex" - sata cable .

Hi:

 

According to chapter 1 of the service manual the notebook only supports M.2 SSD's.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 15 Laptop PC

 

There are no SATA cables, or 2.5" drive components listed in chapter 3 of the service manual, so unfortunately, I don't believe you can install a 2.5" drive in your notebook.

 

I suggest you replace the 256 GB NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity if you need more storage.
