Hi..
I purchased an HP Pavillion BC 550na Black Friday last year. It came with an 512GB NVMe SSD
I have downloaded the PDF manual but cannot cearly see if there is a possiblity of installing an additional SSD.
The manual seems to say no but I would like a deifinitive answer. Any help or advice appreciated.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 2 TB SATA hard drive installed on the PC.
For more details, see Memphis2-S motherboard specifications. Your computer supports SSD.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi again.. I think I have it worked out now.. various selling configurations are shown in the service manual
not what is only possible on my laptop with the configuration I currently have.
So my laptop has one internal card expansion slot that is currently filled by the 512 GB NVMe .
This means that I should have an empty bay to install a SATA SSD drive to hold my audio samples.
