Second Nvme Speed Restriction

OMEN Laptop - 15-en0007ax
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have hp Omen 15 with ryzen 4800H and RTX 2060. This laptop has no hdd but has two slots for nvme m.2. One Nvme came pre-installed when i bought and now i am thinking of adding another nvme in free slot. Some people told me that due to lane and 2nd slot, you cant get full read or write speed. So dont go for high speed/expensive ones. Is it true? Will i get same speed from high end Samsung 970 Evo and WD sn 550 in 2nd slot?

Not sure if it's true or not... But i already add the second NVME, and it works at the same speed as advertised... I'm using ADATA XPG SX8200Pro...

So you are getting 3500 mb/s read and 3000 mb/s write  speed on this nvme as advertised?

Seems like there is no restriction on speed. Thank you so much for the help.
