Is it possible to add a second SSD to the HP Pavilon 15-dk1xxx? and does it have to be a certian brand or anything to match the one it came with?

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c06902418
No, it only supports M.2 SSD and 2.5" HDD (or SSD). It already has
- 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
- 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA HDD
You can replace 1TB HDD using 2.5" 1TB or 2TB SSD from any standard 2.5" SSD such as

I don't know why only 256GB od M.2 SSD, that means you can add 2.5" SSD (as above) to your machine.
Regards.
