Good evening.
I ran out of free space on the current SSD. I would like to add a second one.
Is it possible? And if so, which type of interface should I choose?

Hi:

Your notebook only has one M.2 slot for a SSD, which is currently occupied by the 256 GB M.2 NVMe SSD.

If you need additional storage, I recommend that you replace the existing NVMe SSD with one having a larger storage capacity.

I recommend the Samsung 980 1 TB.

And how can I save the Windows license and transfer all the data?

HP Recommended

The W10 license/product key is in your notebook's BIOS.

You don't need the key to reinstall W10

Transferring the data will be trickier because you would need to buy a USB C to NVMe SSD enclosure to be able to clone the existing drive configuration to the new SSD.

You can use free cloning software such as Macrium Reflect.

It would probably be easier to back up your files and either clean install W10 on the new SSD and then install the drivers and software, or use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook onto the new SSD.

Here is an info link for how to use that utility.
