Hi All,
Hope you're all safe and apologise if this question has been asked a few times, I did try and search but couldn't find the answer to my specific model. HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0xxx
I would like to add an additional HDD to my laptop, is this possible? Also which HDD could I add?
Thanks

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook's model series.
If your notebook already has a 2.5" hard drive, you cannot add another one, but you can install a M.2 NVMe SSD and use the hard drive for storage.
If your notebook has a M.2 SSD but no 2.5" hard drive, you would probably have to find and buy the hard drive parts needed to install it that are listed in chapter 3.
Normally the models that only come with the M.2 SSD's have none of the hardware to add the 2.5" drive.
(16b) Hard drive bracket (not available as a spare part)
(16c) Hard drive cable L56898-001
If your notebook only has a M.2 SSD, it would probably be easier to just replace the M.2 SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.
