Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d1 (53F51AV)

Hello,

Recently i bought a new laptop(Victus 16-D1017nq).

Laptop is equipped with Intel core i5 - 12500H(Alde Lake, 12th generation), 16gb ddr5 ram,  nvidia rtx 3050ti, 512 gb ssd, baseboard product 8A26 34.59, windows 11pro x64).

My primary SSD(m2, nvme) is Samsung MZVL2512HCJQ-00BH1. This is a pcie 4.0 x4 ssd, mounted on a PCIe gen 4 x4 interface.

So i bought a new ssd(Samsung 990 PRO 1TB) for the secondary empty slot because i need extra space.

I installed on the secondary m2 slot, but the 990 Pro isn't recognised as a PCIe 4 x4. The firmware is updated, the same and the program(samsung magician), and bios. I will atach some pictures with speeds of these 2 ssd.    Both of these ssd are PCIe 4.0 X4.

The secondary m2 slot is PCIe 3.0 or 4.0?

Thank you all!

Hi:

This discussion regarding the model series indicates that the secondary M.2 slot is PCIe Gen 3.

Solved: [SOLVED] Maximum upgrade options (RAM, SSD) for HP Victus 16... - HP Support Community - 853...

The person indicated that the motherboard states, "GEN 3" below the secondary PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD and "GEN 4" below the primary PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD.
