I'm trying to install a secondary hd on a cn4003ca. I bought the cable to do so but it seem the bios wont consider the drive existence. I even try removing the m2 drive to see if it would detect the sata drive with no avail. My guess now is that even if the board has the connector, the bios or hardware itself does not support sata drive on that model. Correct me if I'm wrong please. I invested a 100 $ for more storage sadly...

Verify that the part number of cable is as follows

M75893-001

 

Also open the Disk Manager and see if the disk is shown and initialized.
