I moved and haven’t used my laptop for a couple of years, when I login I get the message “security certificate expired”. How do I update?

Maybe the system date in the BIOS has rolled back to default because the clock (RTC or CMOS) battery lost power. Enter the BIOS and adjust the system date to reality and then try again. BIOS would be F10 on that model as you power up.
