I am reaching out today to seek your guidance and expertise regarding a RAM upgrade for my HP laptop model 15-ay105tx. I am specifically looking for advice on selecting the appropriate RAM module for my system.
Currently, my laptop is equipped with a Samsung 2133MHz DDR4 RAM module with CAS Latency 15. However, I feel the need to upgrade my system's RAM to enhance its performance for demanding tasks and multitasking.
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could offer recommendations on compatible RAM modules that would work seamlessly with the HP 15-ay105tx model. Here are a few specific questions I have:
- What is the maximum RAM capacity supported by the HP 15-ay105tx model?
- Are there any restrictions on the RAM frequency or CAS Latency that I need to consider while selecting a new module?

It has 4 GB DDR4-2133 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB) now. You can upgrade to
- 8GB : add same existing 4GB to slot 2 or using the following RAM : https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct4g4sfs824a/ct10082676 (RAM will run at 2133 MHz)
- 16GB (max): using compatible RAM such as https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k8g4sfs824a/ct10082661 (RAM will run at 2133 MHz)
