Hi was hoping to get pointed towards a replacement FPC/ZIF connector for the keyboard ribbon for a 450 G ProBook. BaseBoard Version KBC Version 02.41.00 BaseBoard Product 837D. i've replaced the keyboard twice and the 8 i ' k , " keys didn't work on either. So, I assumed a dead pin/s. if not direct part link the proper specs. Thanks to anyone who might reply,
Evan

HP does not sell ZIF connectors for its products.
You could get it from a non working system board that matches yours.
Try eBay for that.

thanks ercico, I know I can board harvest. have one boomarked on ebay but somewhere they have to have the board wiring schematic and know which connector they used. has to exist somewhere. 2 dollar connector at digikey vs. 70 dollar board.

"the board wiring schematic"
That is, unfortunately, proprietary information. Good luck getting that from HP.
HP limits information to non-employees and that is just the way corporations operate.
In the repair industry there are schematics, but they are difficult to source.
I think that board you have earmarked is likely to be your best shot.
