Good day! I want to replace the SSD on my laptop. I wonder which type will suit me? SATA 2.5 or M2. SATA or M2. NVMe 3.0 ... 4.0?

Hi;

 

The product specs for your notebook indicate that it came with a 256 GB M.2 NVMe SSD, so I recommend you replace the M.2 NVMe SSD with another one.

 

Your notebook's M.2 slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.

 

You can install a larger capacity NVMe SSD if you want.

 

You can also install a PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD, but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from your notebook's PCIe Gen 3.0 SSD slot.
