HP Envy x360

Hello, I have had troubling issues from the first purchase of this computer.

1. It runs hot and the fan will turn on and go continously... I tried to address this immediately, but it didnt really get resolved.

2. Right now, it's hot even after being turned off alll night. As I type this, the text is loading very slowly compared to how fast I am typing. Which brings me to my next issue, that my separate keyboard and mouse stopped working. I just moved the USB that connect them to the other USB on the left and it's working. I'm afraid the USB hole on the right now doesn't work? This is the most expensive and ***bleep*** experience I've had with a computer so far, I'm so dissappointed.

3. The camera/webcam (gray) icon is over the screen and can't be removed. I read the forum's solutions, but there is no webcam in the Device Manager that I can see.

This computer is my livlihood!! Help!!!

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand that your HP notebook is not working correctly and I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.

The last thing I can suggest trying to restore a computer back to the factory default, which will isolate whether it’s a software or hardware issue.

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
