I want to back up all my data to hp 16 GB sd card (not yet bought) because I want to buy new windows 11 pc in exchange for my current hp 1000-1401 AU Notebook Personal laptop.
Shall I require to buy micro sd card adapter along with hp 16 GB sd card?
My another question is what is the maximum capacity of hp sd card which I can use on my hp notebook pc 1000-1401AU ?

I suggest using an external USB disk or a microSD memory card with an SD card adapter.

If you buy an microSD from a brand like SanDisk it is likely to come with an adapter already. If not, make sure that you buy one that does.
Modern notebooks use microSD cards.
AS far as the highest storage capacity for aan SD card for your Windows 8 notebook? I am unsure about that. I would suggest trying one that is 32 or 64GB.
Do you really feel that your important data is only 16GB?
