My shift, ctrl and alt keys have stopped responding. I already reinstalled the keyboard driver but it’s still not working. Pls any other suggestions

 

my laptop is Hp Elitebook x360 1030 G3

I suggest that you plug in a USB external keyboard and try those keys.

 

If the keys work with an external keyboard it would perhaps mean that there may have been spillage of a sweet beverage that is causing the issue.

 

Have you run the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI keyboard test?

 

Power on and press the F2 key to invoke the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI utility.

Select Component tests and then keyboard. 

 

Run the test and provide the result in your next reply to your thread.
