I have checked my HDD with the official HP pc Hardware Diagnostic and got a Short Drive Self-Test Failure.
Failure ID: 935428-000AN7-MFPW2J-60U513
Any suggestions on what should I do? Will replacing HDD solve?

Hi:
Below is the failure report generated by the code you posted, minus your notebook's serial number.
| 935428-000AN7-MFPW2J-60U513 | OK | 00000000000 | 7/18/21 | 303 | Storage | Floppy Drive, Hard Drive, Memory Drive, Optical Drive, SCSI, Tape Drive | Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure |
You will need to install a new hard drive and reinstall the operating system.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

You may want to consider replacing the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).
Your notebook also has a M.2 slot that supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's.
A NVMe SSD would provide the fastest drive performance.
After you replace the drive, you can use the HP cloud recovery client utility to reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
This package provides the Cloud Recovery Client for supported computer models running a supported operating system. This Client Utility enables users to download the Recovery Kit from the cloud

I have attached the instructions for how to use that utility below.
