If you haven’t read my first post then click on my profile (I feel like I’m introducing a tv show) so after doing more research from my first issue I landed on a page about checking your DST I don’t quite understand what those mean but it says that I failed both of them (short and long), I don’t exactly know how to fix this or what this means for my HP.

Hi:
If your PC failed both the short and long DST's that means you need to replace the hard drive and reinstall the operating system.
Consult the maintenance and service guide for your specific model notebook for the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

If your notebook was made in 2016 or later you should be able to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
