Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Pavilion Laptop 14m-dh1003dx which appears to be running fine.  The HP Support Assistant tells me to update to bios F.14 but doesn't tell me why and I cannot find what the bios is expected to solve or what potential problems it may cause.  This laptop has driven me crazy with the fan noise and I have only recently gotten it under control by turning off CoolSense and slowing the processor speed.  What are the reasons to  update the bios?  Where can I find information on f.14?    Thanks
