Hello everyone, I am currently using Victus Gaming 15, and my doubt is, is it okay to use it without a screen guard? There is a construction work going on nearby and dusts are everywhere, and it coverts the screen little bit and I am worried to clean it as the screen is unprotected. Any suggestions?
I once went to a near by HP center and they were asking me not to apply any guard as modern laptops does not need any. Thats confusing me.

@AryaRitesh, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Modern HP laptop displays, including the Victus series, use durable, anti-glare coatings and hardened glass/plastic surfaces that are engineered to withstand daily use without the need for external protection. That's likely why the HP center recommended not applying a third-party screen guard—it can sometimes interfere with:
Display clarity and color accuracy
Touch responsiveness (for touch models)
Potentially trap dust or cause bubbling over time
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
