Product: HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15m-es1000 (446V8AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop charging port began smoking after plugging the charger in. My laptop worked perfectly fine before this, and there is no reason why this should have started happening (didn't drop it or anything like that). The laptop still works fine, but it only has 50% battery left until I can not charge it. I tried a new charger and the same thing happened. Best Buy told me that it is likely an electrical issue with the motherboard, however the laptop still works perfectly fine. Any ideas why this is happening or how I could fix this?
