I tried to charge my laptop today and smoke started coming out of the charging port. It started burning the tip of my charger. What can I do in this situation ? Please help.

For your own safety, do not attempt to charge it.

 

If it is in warranty, contact HP and start a warranty repair claim. Click on the Repair button  towards the bopttom of the suport portal web page at the link below.

If it is out of warranty, take it to a shop or consider sourcing a replacement laptop.
