I would like to know where/how to replace the hinges that have snapped on the laptop.
There are no suggestions for this in the virtual assistance and I have only found 1 article that referred to the 13-aq102tu5 which had the same issue, but no public guidance/help.
Aside from the snapped hinges, the laptop is in full working order. Can someone please help with replacing/repairing the snapped hinges?

Snapped hinges, it means that there are parts on the display assembly and/or the lower enclosure where the hinges connect at both parts that may be damaged.
Replacing them and the associated display and lower enclosure parts is quite detailed. Most people are not tech savvy enough to do it themselves. It requires a lot of patience, a tray to put small parts, like screws, PC DIY toolkit and plastic spudger pry tools so as to not scratch the plastic and delicate bits.
The links above go to Amazon.com.au, so they are local online for you.
Is you plan to give it a try?
This video should be pretty close. It shows how to remove and replace parts of the laptop, including hinges
The Maintenance & Service guide

See Chapter 3, page 16 Item 7.
Hinges description and HP Part number
Left and right hinges (includes display panel adhesive) L54121-001
Hinge covers (left and right; includes display panel adhesive) L54120-001
If the hinges have cracked and there is no other associated damage, it could be a relatively inexpensive job to replace the hinges.
