So this morning someone spilled soda on my brand new wireless keyboard. Fun. We quickly turned it over in an attempt to drain it, and cleaned it up, but tonight I noticed that a few of the keys aren’t working. I guess I need to try a deep cleaning, but I wanted to see if there were any suggestion on the best way to about this. Or maybe even a recommendation for a clesn8ng kit or what tools we might need. Thank you.

@KnightLife, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding spillage on the keyboard!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I can imagine that sinking feeling when a fresh, fizzy soda finds its way into your brand-new keyboard—it’s sticky, messy, and frustrating. You’ve done the right first step by turning it over and draining it.
For now, I’d suggest gently powering the keyboard off, removing the batteries (if applicable), and letting it fully dry in a cool, airy space for at least 24–48 hours. If keys remain unresponsive, a more detailed cleaning might be needed:
Use a soft cloth slightly dampened with distilled water or isopropyl alcohol to wipe around the keycaps.
A can of compressed air can help clear away residue beneath the keys.
If the stickiness persists, you may need professional servicing since liquid damage can seep deeper into the circuits.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
