Pavilion g6-2237us

What are my options if I want to upgrade the RAM on this system?

Also can I add any type of SSD on to it? I am unable to find the details of motherboard it uses and whether it supports M.2 SSDs. If someone can please help me with those issues.

@drsa23

Your machine currently has 4GB DDR3 SDRAM (1 DIMM) and it has 2 slots (DIMM's). You can simply add 4GB to the second slot to get 8GB (max supported). Please use the following compatible RAM

RAM sticks are very cheap now. To take full advantage of dual channel architecture, the preferred configuration is to get 2 sticks are the same, please use

For SSD, your machine does not have M.2 slot and you can't add, you have to replace existing HDD to be able to install new SSD. The following products are compatible with your machine:

        https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/pavilion-g6-2237us/CT11476279   (1TB)

Regards.

So, I can put in a max of 8GB RAM and 2TB drive?

Also, can I run Windows 10 on this Notebook?
