Pavilion dv6-1355dx
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an unusual issue that I know others have had as well.  My

SHIFT, Z, X, C, V, M, SPACE BAR, and COMMA keys do not work.  I've tried everything short of replacing the motherboard.

I upgraded to the most recent BIOS (F.46).  Took the battery out and held down the power button for over a minute.  Plugged the AC adapter in as the computer first boots, performed a Factory Reset, replaced the Hard Drive.  Uninstalled and re-installed keyboard drivers.  I even replaced the keyboard with a new one only to have the same exact keys not work.

This seems to me as if it's a Firmware issue or a faulty motherboard that we the consumer shouldn't have to pay for to fix.  HP should have some sort of recall or something as I've read numerous posts of this same issue.

Has anyone found a fix for this or had any luck with HP Support when their laptop is no longer under warranty?
