Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Sound Issue.  Drop laptop and this possibly happened. Checked physical connections. Drivers are supposedly up to date. Headphones wont (fully) connect on bluetooth on/off in quick menu. Using bluetooth adapter.

Hi:

You need to install the graphics driver for your model notebook.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp74501-75000/sp74716.exe

That file contains the AMD audio driver that has a problem.

Thanks. Downloading now. Possible cause? I only found that my hd drive cable was slightly loose and reattached.

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know why you lost the AMD HDMI audio driver.

That fixed my "noticeable" problem. My headphones wont connect though, even though they say paired. It says they are pairing audibly in the headphones, they never connect though. They worked fine previously and work on my phone. Screenshot (23).pngScreenshot (24).png

Did you install the Broadcom Bluetooth driver?

I see an Other Devices with listing a BCM20702A0 which is the Broadcom Bluetooth adapter.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.
