Hello, 

 

A problem with the keyboard on my laptop has recently emerged. The space key does not work , and neither does several of the letters. Sometimes when I type a letter this key types itself instead '/' in long lines until i close the window. 

I have consulted this forum for keyboard problems and did the whole re-setting of the keyboard system which has not affected it.

The problem started on and off, and now it is all the time which means I cannot use the laptop. I have not had any drink spilled on it and do not know why it has this issue. I hope you can help ??

I reviewed your post and I understand that some of the keys on the keyboard are not working.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I recommend you contact support as it looks like a hardware issue and they will assist you with the available service options for your computer.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

 

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
