I bought my OMEN 15-en1155ng around 2 years ago, but after a few months the spacebar stopped working consistently.
It works somestimes, but it is very come and go.
Won't go into too much of the details regarding the experimentation I've done to figure out what the issue is.
But, at the end it looks like the contacts inside the silicone cap are out of whack.
Since it seems like the probability of the key working is dependent on the tilt of the laptop.
Meaning if I have it in my lap but tilted a bit down, the chances are higher.
Maybe the contacts inside the silicone cap are loose and that is the reason, idk.
I didn't inquire about this before since I use an external keyboard and monitor 99% of the time so it's a non-issue mostly.
I tried to find replacement keyboards for this, but it seems they sell only the entire top cover, not the keyboard separately, which makes the price go up to 200 euros without installation fees, which is too much.

Does anyone know, what a possible solution could be?
