the spacebar key is not lighting up.

i tried rebooting several times but it did not work. any suggestions?

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Most of the HP computers will not have a backlight on the spacebar. Our laptops have the backlight for all the keys, except for the spacebar. This is by design and not a malfunction.

Most of the HP computers will not have a backlight on the spacebar. Our laptops have the backlight for all the keys, except for the spacebar. This is by design and not a malfunction.
