Hi all
I'm having a huge terrible problem with an HP spectre i7-1065g7 2019-20 model I can easily have in hand. I can't find a replacement keyboard anywhere in the world.
Let's take things from the beginning: I had a CTO model as it's called from HP with a serial number I can provide to anyone interested which is 13t-aw100 as a model...from the downloads support section for this particular model (putting the serial number and product number) I had the part number for the keyb which was L73748-001
And this is where my nightmare began
As always with Hp parts at first I've called the local HP Parts dealer, who after providing them serial number and model number of the laptop, told me that this part is unavailable and not in their list of "orderable" parts and that I should talk with HP Greek support. Ok, sure do. I've got in contact with them after a week of calls vice-versa, they also told me that this part is unavailable for this laptop?!?!?!?!? But still I had the specific part number of the keyboard which is cross-reference to all spctre 2020 models after all (color and sureview dependent only). They said they would check, after 2 more days same results came up and they instructed me to speak with HP Main Support. Did so of course...first contact gave as a result to visit an HP repair center because this replacement could be only done in-house, so no prob, I took it and went to an official repair store in my city, results got back the same after 2 days, no part available for it. Again got in contact ith HP Main on messenger, 2nd representative this time told me that it was aCTO model and no "REPAIR" was in his available actions for this laptop, still couldn't answer me if this part was available or not. He kept saying "I'm sorry but you'll have to purchase a new laptop"!!!!! Let's go for the 3rd trial with a 3rd representative today (the end is the same "Regrettably I can't do anything") Like the 2nd one explained for the CTO model but told me that if it was an EA ending model number then he could give me a way to repair. So I found three EA model numbers that he could check (9QB78EA, 8PL01EA, 8UK43EA) but after this he still coudnt find any details too after all kept saying "Regrettably can';t do anything more for your concern" ?!?!?!? And I'm asking this simple question...whichever maintenance guide of all these spectre 13" anyone can download, you'll find out that they have the exact same keyboard parts and I'm only interested in the L73748-001, I never got a response from them to the questions
1) why is this happening for such a premium laptop of theirs, 2) All these years I knew that through their official distributors I could source parts and I did so for several hp laptops, now why is it different with it? 3) What does "We cannot help you with the repair. Since you checked in your place for repair and no part available. Then the only option is to purchase a new laptop." or "Then there is no option to repair it" means? 4) How is it possible that there are many sites selling new keybs with diffrent layouts since these parts are not available and they are legit webpages with genuine hp parts?
Thanks for your time, waiting for a life-saver here because I can't accept as a solution to throw a brand new laptop away as an HP representative himself proposed because of a keyboard. I wish one of the 3 representatives I've talked with was telling me that this is too new model for parts to be offered and I would accept it, but there are already webpages offering such new keyboards, so how did they source them?

https://www.laptopmain.com/store/l73748-001-l72385-001I searched it with the part number, and there is a store selling the laptop keyboard you need. https://www.laptopmain.com/store/l73748-001-l72385-001

I ve already got in contact with them, no response!!! Still, how can hp not support their laptops and not offer parts for them? Especially premium lines which are supposed that were paid expensive?!?!?!?
I m at a loss and not even HP can help?!?!? Who could predict this? I wish there was somebody from hp support that could tell me that this is brand new laptop and parts will be available next year, or this Christmas or after 6 months, not this "Regrettably we are sorry that there was incovenience caused", I was tired to read it so many times it was written by them without any definite answer!
