Asmita,

I appreciate your reply, although I am surprised that it took nine months to elicit a response to such a universal problem. I am not sure I understand the statement "contact Hp in your region." What exactly does that mean? As I have stated previously, I have the Best Buy extended warranty for my 4 (that's four 13" Spectre x360 laptops - three different generations). The BB warranty Geeks contacted Hp about the problem, who responded with the "We don't cover cosmetic problems" answer. I have since reattached the neoprene strips twice with Gorilla Glue and 3M heavy duty double sided tape. The 3m tape lasted about five months. I'll see how long the Gorilla Glue tape lasts.

I'm a little concerned that the basic design of the cushions has not changed with the current 13.3" Sprectre x360 with the OLED 4K screen.  I purchase one for my daughter to use in grad school, but she complained that the bottom of the unit runs very hot, and the cooling fan is at maximum RPM all the time, so much so that it disturbs other students in the class room. I was surprised that there were no "power level" choices available as I had seen previously in the Windows settings. After researching the problem, I discovered that many people complained about the loudness of the cooling fan, jokingly comparing it to a vacuum cleaner.  I finally found the suggestions about using the Hp Command Center to reduce the heat and noise level. Maybe I missed it, but I don't recall Hp mentioning anything about this app during the set up or in the manual. Oh, that's right, there is essentially no operations manual. It seems as though every company is more concerned about liability warnings in 14 languages then they are about setting up the equipment anymore. So, once I acquainted myself with the Hp Command Center, I was able to reduce the heat and noise on the OLED 4K Spectre x360, although I cannot get it to download to my last generation 4K Spectre x360. Still the basic problem exists. Regardless of how much you reduce the power level, the hottest part of the computer base is right under the middle of the rear neoprene cushion strip, which is also right where your fingers grip the computer when you carry the the laptop with your hand. This is a recurrent set up for eventual rubber feet malfunction.

There seems to be "design race to nowhere" among laptop manufacturers. The goal appears to be "How can we make the lightest and thinnest laptop on the planet?" Unfortunately, that race was already lost to Sony. As I recall, they had an ultra light and thin laptop in the Sony VAIO Pro 13 line at about 2.34 lbs before they gave up on personal computers, although the VAIO brand has re-emerged separately (1.97 lbs.).The problem is that the batteries are reduced in size to make the laptops lighter and thinner. In my opinion, what people want is a laptop that is reasonably fast, minimum of 1080p, under three pounds, runs not too warm, with not the smallest battery on the planet, and rubber feet that don't fall off.

Greetings!

Same issues here.. Day 3 after receiving the laptop the screen failed. It went back to HP who replaced the Screen and since then the feet have been peeling off. I have given up on HP and just found an online retailer that sells them. Save your sanity from the robotic learnt Cliche answers of Hp both online and on the phone.
