Good Afternoon,

 

I hope everyone is doing well. I have one of the original 15t and the fan noise is driving me insane, sometimes at idle and then when I am doing basic web browsing. I did some research and found that you can change the fan speed in the hp command center but I am assuming the updated command center took this feature away, I think they also took it away from the bios. 

 

I did open the laptop up and see if the fans were dirty and they weren't. Is there another way of lowering the fan speeds on the laptop? I hope there is, my friend even warned me and told me not to get a hp 😕

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to lower the fan noise.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I would like to inform you that there is no option to manage fan speed. However, I recommend you update the BIOS, graphics, and the chipset driver from the below link and check if it helps.
