Hello. I have HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 Laptop 14-ef2001. My left and right arrow keys stopped working. There is no physical damage, I think a software issue. In BIOS settings, these buttons are unresponsive as well. I have tried BIOS update, windows update, uninstalling and reinstalling keyboard drivers and none of them worked. I see many users suffer from the same issue in HP Spectre laptops. Mine is quite brand new, warranty is still on, but I do not want to erase everything for such a minor issue, uninstalling programs is a pain for me as I have some licensed to my previous institutions which I can not reinstall again. Buying a new computer is better and smoother if no solid solutions for this software issue. That's why I do not want to send my laptop to the service.

@Burakmdphd, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Try power drain:
Shut down your laptop completely.
Unplug charger and all accessories.
Hold power button for 60 seconds.
Leave it off for about 10 mins, then boot into BIOS again.
Check if arrow keys work there.
External Keyboard Test
Plug in an external USB keyboard.
If arrow keys on that keyboard work fine, this confirms the built-in keyboard is the issue, not the controller on the board.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
