Purchased this laptop new from Best Buy in March 2017. January of this year (2018) I opened the laptop one morning and the screen was cracked - just like that. Had it fixed locally, $300. Today I opened it and - you guessed it - cracked again. I mostly use it on my desk - very little travel. When I do, it's in padded laptop case inside a padded backpack. From what I read on this forum, this is a pretty common problem with this device. Is HP doing anything to recognize that this might be a design flaw? Any tips on what I shoudl do next?

Mine cracked about 6 months ago but I didn’t know why or how. Now I’m seeing all these people saying the same thing and I’m realizing it IS a design flaw! Who should I contact or what should I do? Thanks for the help.
