Spectre x360 - 15-ch004na overheating

Hi, I purchased my Spectre x360 - 15-ch004na about 5 months ago, since day 1 my laptop  overheats when playing Football Manager 2019, I've updated driver's and bios/firmware and even a clean install of windows and nothing  helps, temps are hitting 99c per core and throttling which shouldn't happen on a £1899 laptop, can I return it for a full refund

I understand you're having issues with the new HP Spectre overheating. Don't worry I'll be glad to help you.

As you have already performed all the possible troubleshooting steps and more over the temperature is hitting 99c, I would personally suggest this to be a possible hardware failure.

I would recommend you contact our HP support team for further assistance. 

HP support can be reached on www.hp.com/contacthp

Select the product type.

Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

Select the country from the drop-down.

You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
