I own a spectre x360 15 and sometimes it gets warm but it's bearable. When charging it gets unbearably hot to the point that I can't even touch the pc even though HP command center is running and the fans are doing their job. The bios, drivers and software are up to date and I use the charger that I got with my laptop. What can I do because I love that pc but for the price I paid it's dissapointing that it get's so hot that I can't touch it.

Welcome to the HP Community --
Perhaps the battery is failing in a rather unpleasant manner.
Perhaps the temperature in the room is not cool enough.
Perhaps the charger is failing.
Perhaps there is a fault in the electrical system.
Perhaps the outlet (that is) feeding power to the charger is faulty.

"Fat" Battery / Bloated Battery / Swollen Battery – Sealed / Internal Battery
Swollen battery might be hiding OR there might be evidence that the battery has inflated. For example, notebook case warps or won’t close, touch-pad stops working, “odd” bulging near the keyboard.
If the battery is in a swollen or bloated condition, the battery must be removed from the computer and replaced. There are no other remedies, tests, or useful options.

Consider checking whether the BIOS can be updated on your computer.
