Spectre x360 4193dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, everyone.

I own a 13" Spectre x360 4193dx. My battery was not charging, and the laptop only ran on AC power. I changed out the battery with a new one, but it seems like the problem is not the battery itself as this did not alleviate my problem. I ran HP PC Hardware Diagnostics on the battery and the test failed. It said "Logic state: calibrate, Charge state: Blown Fuse" and provided this error code "M4QK3G-8LK9QW-RXG2LK-C0CR13".

After much searching online, I could not find any information about fuses in laptops or more specifically where a blown fuse might be in my model. I even took it apart to inspect the charging port and couldn't find anything noticeably wrong...

My warranty is out, sadly, and I am already pretty upset that I bought a new battery when it turns out to not be the problem. I am curious if anyone has any information about how to fix this myself (I am pretty comfortable working on the motherboard). College student here that would rather not pay the crazy rates for laptop repair.

Thanks so much!
