Laptop's bottom case  is warped to a point that the only thing preventing it from detaching entirely  are the case screws (cpu board is already exposed) . Keyboard panel is also bending upwards, making it hard to type, use the mouse pad and closing the lid .   When researching on this issue,  it came to my attention this issue has been reported by a significant amount of users, so I am wondering whether  HP is doing anything to help as this feels like a engineering flaw.

Needless to say warranty is already expired, so no luck here.

Worth noticing computer sits on my desk inside an air conditioned office (24x7).

Definitely not the kind of issue one would expect on a high end computer. Very frustrating.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I have the same issue.... feels like battery expanding... !!

The lower part of the laptop that has the keypad started bending from the middle and bacame slightly concave. Did anyone face such issue? Was this due to heat produced from the device?..

I read a responce to another similar question " This is caused by the battery swelling. This is actually a dangerous condition. You need to get the battery replaced ASAP."
