HP Pavillion

Hey I spilled pulp filled orange juice on my HP Pavillion Laptop x360

I immediately just put tissues over it and dapped it all off. What are the next steps i should take?

Should I give it in some where to service if so where? I prefer going to the company (I don't mind costs)

Are there ways to do it myself, should i take the keys off?

It's working perfectly fine right now, it's only been a couple of minutes, but i can tell it will be really sticky and possibly get worse over time.

Hello.

Besides getting sticky, liquids can harm other components inside the laptop, corrosion for example. Cleaning and thorough drying is recommended. I recommend taking the laptop to a local HP Service Center and have them check and fix it professionally.

The keyboard is removable and you can try cleaning it once removed. The keyboard itself has multiple hard to separate layers of plastic and electronics so removing the keycaps probably isn't sufficient. Electronics can be washed but I would not recommend plain tap water and soap/detergent to use for anything but the keycaps and other plastic parts. I recommend not trying to clean it unless the spill was very localised.
