Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi I bought my wife an HP ENVY laptop - now out of warranty. The right screen hinge and case have now split away from each other. This appears to be a common issue, and has been reported on in this and many other online forums. As this was not a cheap machine is HP willing to fix this, as in any other industry (for instance automobile/ car), this would be a product recall given the number of complaints.
