Hi:
Your notebook's M.2 slot supports SATA M.2 drives only.
I believe only the notebooks with the Ryzen processors support NVMe drives.
The max memory is 2 x 8 GB for notebooks with the A9 processors.
Below is the link to the service manual. Chapter 1 has the above information.

Just because it is Key M does not guarantee it can support NVMe.
I have never seen a M.2 SSD slot with two keys yet.
As you can see from the Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook at the link below, they also indicate only SATA SSD's are supported.

I wouldn't take a gamble on it, if I were you.
If your PC had a Ryzen processor, I would definitely agree that the slot supports NVMe drives.
