Hi:

 

Since your notebook has an Intel i5-8265U core processor, the M.2 slot supports both NVMe and SATA SSD's.

 

NVMe SSD's have faster read/write speeds than SATA SSD's have.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.  Chapter 1 has the supported drive types:
