hello, I've recently bought a hp pavilion gaming 15 dk0011tx and I wanted to upgrade it to a ssd. Is a M2 NVMe ssd compatible with this model?

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook's model series.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06377664
It has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's according to chapter 1.
There is one thing that concerns me though, and that there is a part called a solid state drive shield listed in chapter 3, on page 20.
(15b) Solid-state drive shield L56903-001
That shield may not be present if there is no M.2 SSD installed now.
I'm assuming that shield insulates the SSD from excessive heat, and I have no idea where you can buy the part.
