Is crucial P5 Plus SSD compatible with hp pavillion 15 ec0101ax laptop?

Hi:

 

Yes, the Crucial P5 Plus would be compatible but since your notebook's M.2 slot is only PCIe Gen 3, the P5 Plus Gen 4 SSD will not run at its maximum advertised sequential read/write speed.

 

You may want to consider the less expensive P5 which is PCIe Gen 3, or any other brand Gen 3 NVMe SSD such as the Samsung 980 (not Pro), or the Western Digital Blue SN 570, which seems to be a good bargain.
