Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi i am looking forward to upgrade my laptop with a ssd and just wanted to knew if my laptop(hp pavilion 17-g121wm) has a nvme port or not. Thanks in advance.

Its specs

 

     https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04773111

 

It does not have M.2 slot for storage. You can upgrade  1TB 5400RPM hard drive  to 1TB or 2TB 2.5" SATA SSD.

HP Recommended

It does not have the M.2 slot but still i can use it with a connector because they are cheaper than sata ssd. Will it perform okay?
