Between BS104NE and BS128NE, which one gives an option to install SSD. Like if there an empty slot for M.2 or NVMe.

And which one is older than the other?

Here's the Manual:

They use the same manual as they come from the same series which also means they were introduced at the same time. Build on dates for these two laptops will be no more than a few weeks apart. 

HDD bay = green and M.2 slot and screw = red

The laptop can have both a 2.5 inch hard drive plus a SATA M.2 disk as shown above. An NVME type M.2 will not work.

So the SATA M.2 slot for these two are available and not being used?

Yes both are sold only with a 1 TB 5400 rpm hard drive so the M.2 SATA slot is unoccupied.
