Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Run Windows Troubleshooter
- Type troubleshoot in the taskbar search box.
- Select Troubleshoot settings.
- Scroll down and click on Additional troubleshooters.
- Under Find and fix other problems, select Start Menu and run the troubleshooter.
Update Windows and Drivers
- Type settings in the taskbar search box and select Settings.
- Click on Update & Security.
- Select Windows Update and click on Check for updates.
- Install any available updates and restart your laptop.
Update HP Drivers Using HP Support Assistant
- Type HP Support Assistant in the taskbar search box and open the app.
- Select My PC, then select the Updates tab.
- Click on Check for updates and messages.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to update drivers and software.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the laptop.
- Remove any connected external devices.
- Unplug the AC adapter.
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to drain any residual power.
- Reconnect the AC adapter and plug in the laptop.
- Turn on the laptop.
Restore System to a Previous Point
- Type system restore in the taskbar search box and select Create a restore point.
- In the System Properties window, click on System Restore.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to choose a restore point and restore your system.
