After buying the HP laptop 17t-cn300 I could not find the switch to turn on the PC.

Looking at the right top above the keyboard, there was nothing that came close.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your post reminded me of the same issue I had with a new HP notebook I received 5 years ago.

 

Where's the power button?

 

I looked all over for that thing and could not find it.

 

Below is the link to the service manual for the model series:

 

Maintenance and Service Guide

 

If you look at chapter 2, page 10, you will find the location of the power button.


It was just like mine...mixed in with the function keys on the top row of the keyboard.

 

I couldn't believe it.
