So this morning I woke up to see my power button stuck in a weird position. It seemed to completely stuck in a "pressed" position. I got really worried and thought i'd never be able to power on my PC again, but as if by a miracle, I got it turn on.

How can I get my computer's power button out of this odd position? It better not involve hardware modification because I'm too scared to pry open my computer. It's not like I can go get repairs done by a professional since I am a minor and cannot drive.

Also, if the power button does get completely stuck one day, are there any alternate methods of booting up the PC?

Edit: On closer inspection, the power button is slightly jammed UNDER the laptop's cover, which means if I try to lay the PC flat the power button will get pressed and the computer will turn off.

Its a hardware issue. You are going to have to have it serviced. I would tell you to try to pry it up using a screwdriver but this would be a bad idea for you to do. Post back if you find an adult who can make arrangements to have it fixed properly.
