Yes, your HP Envy x360 15m‑ed0013dx supports an active stylus. It is compatible with pens that use the Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP), such as the HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen or other MPP‑based active pens.
Key Details
- Touchscreen type: Your Envy x360 15m‑ed0013dx comes with a touchscreen that supports active stylus input.
- Protocol: It uses Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP), sometimes referred to as N‑trig technology.
- Compatible pens:
- HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen
- HP Tilt Pen
- Other third‑party pens that explicitly state MPP compatibility (e.g., some active styluses sold for Surface devices).
- Features supported: Pressure sensitivity, tilt shading, palm rejection, and rechargeable options depending on the pen model.
Considerations
- Not all styluses work: Passive capacitive styluses (rubber‑tip pens) will only mimic finger touch and won’t give you pressure sensitivity or precision.
- Best experience: Use HP’s own MPP pens for guaranteed compatibility and full feature support.
- Availability: You can find these pens on HP’s official store or trusted retailers.
